Prior to Burning your candle, trim your wick with our custom wick trimmers. Snip off the top of the wick until about 1/4" remains, then burn your candle! This helps limit debris, as well as reduces soot and helps your candle reach its maximum burn time.
When you're done burning your candle, extinguish the flame safely and stylishly with our custom wick dippers. Gently submerge the burning wick into the melted pool of wax, then pull the extinguished wick upright using the curved tip of the dipper. This instantly coats and seals the wick with wax, preventing any residual smoldering and leaving your home smoke-free and filled only with your favorite Kalamazoo Candle fragrance.

Candle care
On the first burn, let it burn about 4 hours, until the melted wax reaches the edge. This prevents tunneling. Trim the wick to 1/4" before each burn, keep it away from drafts, and dip the wick to put it out.

Unused items in their original packaging can be returned within 10 days. Unburned candles can be exchanged at our downtown Kalamazoo store for another scent anytime. If anything arrives broken, email candle@kalamazoocandle.com with a photo and we’ll make it right.
