Pumpkin amazing

I love your candles. They burn clean and the fragrance lasts through to the end of the candle. Pumpkin patch is fall in a glass.

Balsam & Cedar: 10oz Jar Candle

Love me some Lemongrass!

I absolutely love burning Lemongrass in my kitchen. The smell is so crisp and clean. Great for all year round.

WMU candle is awesome

Sending this candle to my son's host mom in Spain as a thank you gift. Love the scent and the Kalamazoo gift bag.

I forced myself to wait until fall to buy this one, but at this rate I'll need another by mid-October. I burned it for a few hours last night, and today when I got back from work I could still smell it throughout my apartment. Delectable, cozy scent! Fruity and caramely without being overly sweet.

Wood Lid Return Program

At Kalamazoo Candle Company, we care about the impact we have on our environment, and we make a point to seek out sustainability opportunities wherever possible.  We proudly pour our candles into containers that are recyclable ( and reusable!), and we've been thinking for some time about developing a system to reuse the wood lids that top off each of our 10oz jar candles.

That said, we're excited to announce our new Wood Lid Return Program!

Here's how it works:

Option 1:

Bring your wood lids to any of our participating retail partners (find participating stores here).

Option 2:

Bring your wood lids directly to our shop in downtown Kalamazoo (get directions here).

Option 3:

Are you outside the Kalamazoo area? If you're loving our candles from afar,  Options 1 & 2 probably aren't so convenient.  In that case, feel free to pop your wood lids in an envelope/box & ship 'em our way.   Contact us for more info on the return process.

But wait, there's more...

For each wood lid that makes its way back to Kalamazoo Candle Company, we will donate $0.25 to Open Roads, a local organization whose mission is to teach Kalamazoo youth bike mechanic skills and social skills to better prepare them for their future.  In 2016 alone, Open Roads welcomed 450 students into their programs, inspiring social skills & behaviors to help them better navigate life at home, in school, and in their neighborhoods.

If you'd like to learn more about the awesome things Open Roads is doing in Kalamazoo, head over to their website and/or follow them on social media ( Facebook/ Instagram/ LinkedIn/ Twitter).
